BANANA BREAD WITH CHUNKS OF CHOCOLATE…


Aishazkitchen wants to Thank you Y”ALL for the amazing love and support throughout the year .  2017 is going to be a  better year for us here by HIS grace , more projects and amazing recipes coming your way. So lets get baking  the last recipe of the year!!!!



 

INGRIDENTS FOR BANANNA BREAD 

1. 2 cups of All purpose flour
2. 3 ripe bananas
3. 1 bar of baking chocolate 
4. 1 tablespoon of vanilla sugar
5. 1 cup of white sugar 
6. 1 teaspoon of baking powder 
7. 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder 
8. 2 fresh eggs 
9. 150g of room temperature Butter 
10. 1 teaspoon of salt 

 

METHOD OF BAKING BANANA BREAD

 

1. Pre heat the oven to 350 degrees and grease a bread pan with butter 
2. In a large bowl , mix dried ingredients in a bowel and set aside
3. In another bowel cream butter and sugar together until forms a light cream color then add in one egg at a time
4. Pour in the dried ingredients mixture into the wet mixture batch my batch and add ½ -1 cup of water for prefect batter consistency
5. Fold in mashed banana chunks into the mixture
6. Pour your batter into the bread pan and add pieces if chocolates on the surface of the batter.
7. Bake for 40mins at 180 degrees or until inserted toothpick comes out clean.

A VERY YUMMY HOLIDAY RECIPE’AISHAZKITCHEN IN COLLABORATION WITH BROWNIE.!!!

 and A VERY YUMMY HOLIDAY RECIPEAISHAZKITCHEN IN COLLABORATION WITH BROWNIE.!!!

 

Hello guys in spirit of this holiday season we will be bringing you easy recipes for your holiday tables for you and your family. For our main dish we will be serving Coconut Rice and Juicy full chicken, so let’s go over the ingredients and start cooking. !!!

List of ingredients for coconut rice. 

 

1. 1kg of parboiled rice
2. 700 ml of coconut milk 
3. 1 big red bell pepper
4. 1 big yellow bell pepper
5. 1 big green bell pepper 
6. Spring onions 
7. Red onions 
8. Dried herbs ( parsley , basil, thyme)
9. Garlic powder and paprika powder 
10. Black pepper, yaji, salt and knorr cubes
11. Cooking Oil

       12. 2 cups Chicken stock.

 

 

 

Method Of Cooking coconut rice  

1. Place a pot with water to boil on medium high heat , the water comes to a boil add rice and a 2 teaspoons of salt to parboil for 15 mins or until you can break a grain with your finger tips
2. Wash parboiled rice under cold run water to remove starch and set aside 
3. Place a pot on medium high heat with 2 cooking spoons of cooking oil, add chopped veges into the pot to stir fry for 5mins then add dried herbs, spices and stir fry for 3-5 mins to have the blend of spices and aroma hit up
4. Add coconut milk, chicken stock and let it boil for 7-10 mins on medium to low heat
5. Add rice into the coconut mixture the rice should be same level as the mixture if not add a bit of water , cover the rice and let cook on medium to low heat for 15-20 mins or until cooked 
6. When the rice almost cooked add chopped spring onions for garnish and taste to adjust seasoning if need

SO lets get prepping our full chicken!!!


List of Ingredients for full chicken.

1. Full chicken 
2. 150g of butter at room temperature 
3. Cooking oil
4. Dried Herbs ( basil, parsley, rosemary, dried thyme )
5. Seasoning ( grill spices , onga ,salt ,powdered pepper , powdered paprika ,garlic powder, powdered ginger)
6. 1 large lemon
7. 2 onions 
8. 4 cloves of garlic 
9. 5 large potatoes and  3 large carrots. 

Method of grilling full chicken 

1. Get the chicken out of the fridge at least an hour thirty minutes before use
2. Wash and drain with a paper towel and let all the moisture absorbs on the paper towel  
3. In a bowl mix soften butter with dried herbs 1 teaspoon of each , rub the mixture under the skin of the chicken breast the picture will show for better understanding 

 
4. Preheat the oven at 350c , back to the chicken place the chicken the unpeel garlic cloves , lemon slices ad slices of onions 
5. Rub the chicken with cooking oil using a pastry brush, in plate mix all the dried spices and rub the chicken  
6. Grease a baking tray with cooking oil, place chopped unpeeled potatoes and carrots creating a space for the chicken in the center , season the potatoes and carrots with salt and pepper  
7. Place sliced onions rings in the center of the pan before place the chicken on the onions bed 
 
8. Place the chicken in the oven to grill for 1 hour 30 mins or 1 hour 45 mins .

   GIZDODO WITH A TWIST FOR AISHAZKITCHEN.!! 

Heyyyy Guys! I hope Y'all are having a good week so far .. So basically AishaZkitchen twist in the Gizdodo recipe is Stir Fry Gizdodo!!! 


Ingredients for Gizdodo 
0. 2 Ripe Plantains chopped into strip shapes. 
0. 1 large red bell pepper chopped  (paprika) 
0. 1 large yellow bell pepper chopped 
0. Gizzard ( I used chicken gizzard)
0. Spring onions  chopped 
0. Seasonings ( Onga and yaggi/dried pepper)
0. Dried herbs ( parsley, Basil, curry powder) 
0. Paprika powder and garlic powder. 
0. Cooking oil 
0. A pinch of Salt to taste. 



METHOD of Making Gizdodo
0. Cook gizzard with herbs , garlic powder and seasoning for 15-20 mins or until cooked to your desire 
0. In a medium Size Wok , fry plantain until golden brown and place aside 
0. Fry gizzard in the Wok and place aside 
0. In the Wok , add chopped vegetables and Stir fry for 5-7mins 
0. Add herbs and seasonings , pour in the gizzard and plantain into the Wok
0. Add 1 tablespoon of paprika powder and half a cup of water and stir fry for 3mins .

YUMMY CINNAMON ROLLS

CINNAMON ROLLS..!
  Hey Guys, I am just realizing that this is my first time Of writing a baking Recipe here. We all need Calories on our cheat days 😉.. So let's Do this💪🏾
  

INGREDIENTS FOR CINNAMON ROLLS.
0. 500g of all purpose flour 
0. 140g of unsalted butter at room Temperature 
0. 7g of yeast 
0. A pinch of salt 
0. 1 cup of Milk 
0. 8g of cinnamon powder 
0. 2 eggs 
0. 100g of brown sugar
0. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 
0. 40g cream cheese 
0. 85g is white Sugar. 
0. 80g of Icing Sugar .



METHOD OF BAKING 

0. In a measuring Cup,  pour milk , vanilla extract and yeast. Mix it and set aside for 5-7mins 
0. In a large bowl , pour dry Ingredients, 70g of butter , 2eggs  beaten and the yeast mixture . Mix it well until it forms a nice dough.
0. Place the dough in another bowl that has been well oiled or sprayed with cooking spray 
0. Cover the dough with a clear plastic wrap and place in  warm place until it doubles in size or for 30-45 mins. 




IT SHOULD LOOK LIKE THIS. 

0. Dust a working surface with flour and roll the dough out in a rectangular shape with a rolling pin
0. Brush the dough with 70g of soften butter on it , then you spread the cinnamon and brown sugar mixture on it. 
0. Roll the dough up in the cylindrical shape and cut into 1 inch then place in a greased pan 
0. You  cover the baking pan with dough with a  clear plastic wrap and set aside for 20 mins to rise
0. Pre heat the oven at 200c 
0. Brush the dough with melted butter , Bake the CINNAMON ROLLS for 15mins or until golden brown color on top. 
0. While in the oven , you prepare the glaze . In a bowl add cream cheese, icing sugar, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and mix it together. 
0. When your cinnamon rolls are ready , allow to cook for 2mins and Pour the Rain of your Glaze lol.

NIGERIAN FRIED RICE WITH LONG GRAIN RICE.!

Hello Guys! I am so sorryyyyyy I have been MIA for like , what !? Months now . But trust me  AishaZkitchen is here with exciting Recipes and a New Project is Coming your way soon .X!



 INGRIDENTS FOR NIGERIAN FRIED RICE. 
1. 300g of long grain Rice 
2. Mixed Veges ( chopped carrots , peas, chopped red and yellow bell peppers, Sweet corn) 
3. Fried sliced sausages (optional)
4. Cooking oil
5. Dried Herbs ( parsely, basil)
6. Seasoings ( Maggie, Onga , dried pepper , curry )
7. Soya Sauce 
8. Dried ginger and garlic. 


 METHOD OF COOKING FRIED RICE. 
1. Place a pot with water on medium high heat , the water should be enough to cover the rice completely when poured inside. Allow water to come to a boil for 7mins. 
2. Wash rice with cold water and pour inside the pot of water . Add a tablespoon of each dried herbs, 2 tablespoons of curry powder and a pinch of salt , Cover the pot and let the rice cook for 20-25mins. 
3. Wash the rice under running cold water in the sink, cover and keep aside. 
4. Place a frying pan or wok on medium high heat. Add 1-2 cooking spoons of oil, chopped Veges and sauté for 7-10 mins. 
5. While Veges are sautéing add 2 tablespoons of curry , 2 teaspoons of soya sauce , dried pepper , a pinch of ginger , garlic, and add the fried Sausages . 
6.Place a pot on medium high heat, add 2 cooking spoons of oil and add the rice bits by bits and toss in the pot. 
7. Add the sautéed vege mixture on top of the rice and toss it together with the rice and let it steam for 5-7 mins. 
8. Your Fried Rice  is ready! Enjoy with either grilled or peppered chicken, I made mine with grill chicken.

CHICKEN STIR FRY SAUCE.

Chicken Stir Fry Sauce. 

INGREDIENTS 
1. Cooked Chicken 
2. Onions 
3. Paprika( Red, Green and Yellow )
4. Corn starch 
5. Carrots 
6. Dried herbs ( parsley and basil)
7. Curry , Onga and Black pepper 
8. Soya Sauce
9. Mushrooms.        

METHOD FOR CHICKEN STIR FRY SAUCE .
1. Chop all Veges. 
2. Place a non- stick pan on medium high heat with 2-3tablespoons of cooking oil and add chicken to turn Golden Brown
3. Remove Chicken and stir fry mushroom and onions until translucent  ( 5 minutes)
4. Add Veges to stir fry . Add herbs,  2 tablespoons of Soya sauce and Seasonings
5. Add water / chicken stock  depending on the quantity of your sauce and let it boil for 5-7 minutes
6. In a cup mix corn starch with water and mix well . Add to (corn starch mixture )thicker to the  Sauce. 
ENJOY YOUR SAUCE .!!

FLUFFY PANCAKES STUFFED WITH NUTELLA..!

 FLUFFY PANCAKES WITH NUTELLA FILLING.! 
  
INGREDIENTS. 
1. All Purpose Flour 
2. 1 teaspoon of Baking powder
3. Sugar 
4. 2 Eggs
5. Nutella 
6. A pinch of salt 
7. 2 cups  of Milk  
8. Vanilla Extract 


METHOD OF MAKING PANCAKES.

* Scope tablespoons of Nutella on a flat plate , the amount that will be Enough for your batter and Freeze for 45 minutes in the Fridge. 
* In a bowl sieve floor, add sugar , baking powder and pinch of salt. 
* In another bowl, break the eggs , separate egg white from yolk. Add  just the yolk, milk and vanilla. 
* In a separate bowl beat the egg white until it becomes fluffy with a clear white color. 
* In the bowl of the dry ingredients, add the yolk, milk and vanilla mixture and mix together until you get your perfect pancake consistency.
* In the same bowl you in-cooperate your egg white mixture , " DONT BEAT/ MIX".
* Place a non- stick pan on medium heat, add butter for frying. Then You add a scope of batter ,your frozen Nutella and half of your first scope of batter on the Nutella .
* Fry until Golden Brown. 
* Enjoy your Fluffy Pancakes stuffed with Nutella.

HASSEL BACK POTATOES WITH BEEF STEAK..!

 
INGRIDENTS FOR HASSEL BACK POTATOES.
 
 1. 6 Large Potatoes
 2. 500g of UnSalted Butter
 3.30g of dried Basil
 4. 70g of dried parsely 
 5.Parmigiano cheese 
 6. Garlic 
 7.Dried rosemary 
 8. Salt and Black pepper to taste. 
   

 METHOD FOR HASSEL BACK POTATOES.

1. Wash the potatoes and pat dry with paper towel. 
2. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a baking tray with baking paper. 
3. Slice a little part of the bottom of the potatoes so it balances on the tray. 
4. Cut the potatoes vertically 3/4( more than half way) from one side to the end. 
5. Place a pot on medium high heat add butter, dried parsely cloves of garlic , dried basil & rosemary until it starts to simmer for like 5-7 minutes. 
6. Use a baking brush rub half of the mixture on the potatoes. 
7. Put the Potatoes in the Oven to Bake For 25minutes. 
8. After 25 minutes brush the rest of the mixture on the potatoes and bake for 30 minutes  or until cooked through. 
9. Add cheese and put the potatoes back in the oven for 5 minutes for the cheese to melt. 
10. You can and serve your potatoes with any side dish of choice, I used Steak tho.ENJOY..! 



BEFORE OVEN

  INGRIDENTS FOR STEAK 
1. Beef steak
2. Olive oil
3. Grill seasoning 
4. Dried herbs and curry
5. Dried garlic, Onga and pepper 
6. Lemon juice 


  METHOD FOR STEAK. 
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees 
2.Marinate steak with seasoning,herbs, garlic , lemon Juice, Soye sauce and olive oil For an hour or more in the fridge.
3. After an hour put in the oven to cook for 25-35 minutes or until cooked through.

EGUSI SOUP AND EBA..!!!


 Egusi Soup is a Popular Nigerian Dish, made out of melon seeds and can be eaten with any swallow of choice. 



  INGRIDENTS FOR EGUSI;
1. Grounded Melon Seeds (EGUSI powder)
2. Meat of choice ( I used beef and chicken)
3. 2 cooking spoons of Palm Oil 
4. Dried fish and stock fish
5. 3 tablespoons of grounded cray fish
6.1 tablespoon of grounded locust beans( daddawa)
7. Onga ,salt and pepper to taste 
8. Blended tomatoes, paprika and scotch bonnet
9. Chopped spinach  
10. Meat Seasoings (ginger, garlic, thyme)
11. 1 large Onion 
12. An egg( optional) 




  METHOD OF COOKING EGUSI SOUP. 

1. Soak Dried fish in warm water with a pinch of salt, for 20 minutes and remove bone. 
2. Place a pot with water on medium high heat , put stock fish and let it cook for 20mintues the place aside. 
3. In the same pot add beef and chicken with "meat seasoning" and chopped onions. Let it cook for 15 minutes  before adding dried fish to cook along with the meat. After 30 minutes remove from heat. 
4. Place a new pot on fire add palm oil ,chopped onions, blended tomatoes, paprika and scotch pepper . Keep stirring until is fried. 
5. Add beef, chicken, dried fish, stock fish , Seasoings, 2 tablespoons of cray fish and locust beans. Reduce heat and keep stirring occasionally for 5-7 minutes. 
6. Add meat stock in the pot and allow to simmer for 15 minutes. 
7. In a bowl add EGUSI powder , 1 tablespoon of cray fish  and break the egg inside mix it together and mold into balls. "this step is optional, saw on a blog and I happen to like it". 
8. Add EGUSI balls in the pot and cover it to cook for 15 minutes. 
9. In the last 5 minutes add chopped spinach , cover and let it simmer. 
10. EGUSI IS READY TO BE SREVED WITH SWALLOW OF CHOICE.

CREAMY CHICKEN PASTA WITH MUSHROOMS..!



  INGREDIENTS FOR CREAMY CHICKEN PASTA
1. 1 packet of Pasta of choice. 
2. A kilo of chicken Breast. 
3. 5 whole mushrooms. 
4. 3 1/2 cooking spoons of cooking milk( heavy cream).
5. Parmigiano (Parmesan) Cheese. 
6. Fresh parsely. 
7. Dried herbs ( basil , parsely ).
8. Seasoings ( curry powder, black pepper , onga, pinch of salt) .
9. Crushed fresh garlic & chopped  onions. 
10. Olive oil.


 METHOD FOR CREAMY CHICKEN PASTA. 
1. Place a pan on medium high heat. 
2. Add 1 cooking spoon of oil, add chopped chicken breast , dried herbs , crushed garlic and fry until golden on each side. Remove from pan and keep aside. 
3. In the same pan add chopped onions and chopped mushrooms until translucent.
4. Add chicken breast back into the pan , add fresh parsely , add a bit more olive oil and Seasoings. 
5. Add cooking milk and cheese, reduce the heat , leave it to simmer and keep stirring so it doesn't burn. 
6. Cook pasta of choice ( I have a recipe on cooking pasta on my blog). 
7. Add creamy chicken mixture on cooked pasta , add more cheese and parsely to your desire stir and serve CREAMY CHICKEN PASTA WITH MUSHROOM.

SPICY JUCIY GRILLED CHICKEN WINGS.!

  
 INGRIDENTS FOR CHICKEN WINGS. 
1. 1 kilo of Chicken wings. 
2. 2 Tablespoons of Soye Sauce. 
3. 2 tablespoons of Grill spice.
4. 1 large lemon. 
5. 2 cloves of garlic .
6. 2 tablespoons of grounded pepper(yagi).
7.1 tablespoon each of dried herbs (Parsely, basil and thyme).
8. 1 small sachet of Onga. 
9. Pinch of black pepper and salt to taste. 
10.1 Tablespoon of curry powder. 
11. 3 tablespoons of olive oil. 
 12. 2 tablespoons Chicken seasoning.   
   

    METHOD FOR CHICKEN WINGS. 
1. In a bowl put washed wings . 
2. Add crushed garlic , lemon juice, Soye sauce and olive oil. 
3. Add herbs ( Parsely , basil and thyme). 
4. Add seasoning( pepper, curry, Onga , grill spice, chicken seasoning and salt ).
5. Cover the bowl with a clear wrap, put in the fridge for 20-30minutes to marinate. 
6. Put wings on an oven tray with parchment paper. 
7. Put in a preheated oven of 350 degrees F to grill for 25-35 minutes depending on your oven. 
8. When half way through, turn on each sides. 
9. Enjoy your JUCIY SPICY CHICKEN WINGS.!!

Homemade Nigerian Suya (Beef Kebab/ Skewered Beef).!

  Suya is a spicy beef kebab. Is a popular food in Nigeria. Which can be served as a main or side dish. 

  Ingredients For Suya.  
1. 1 kilo of beef.
2. Suya pepper( yajin Suya/ garin Kuli Kuli)
3. 1 teaspoon of Garlic powder. 
4. 3 tablespoons of lemon juice. 
5. 1 tablespoon of soy sauce. 
6. 1 cooking spoon of vegetable oil.
7. 1/2 teaspoon of salt. 
8. 1 teaspoon of Ginger Powder.
9. 1 sachet of Onga. 
10. Skewers. 
 

  Method For Suya.
1.Cut beef into thin fillets.
2.Put the fillets on the skewers and keep aside. 
3. In a clean bowl put vegetable oil, soy sauce ,lemon juice and mix together. 
4. In a clean plate put mixture of dry ingredients ( Suya pepper, salt,Onga, ginger powder and garlic powder). 
5.Rub the oil mixture on Suya fillets.
6.Dab the Suya fillets on the dry ingredients.
7.Cover the Suya fillets and put in the fridge to marinate for 45 minutes. 
8. Grill in a preheated oven for 30 minutes , while grilling turn on each sides. 
9. Enjoy Your Homemade Suya.!!
